Leonidas-Vasileios Maniatis was born in Amarousion, a
suburb of Athens, in 1994. After his graduation from the General Lyceum (the
Greek equivalent to High School) of the Franco-Greek School of Ursulines, in
June 2012 and his success in the Panhellenic Exams, he was accepted as a
student in the Department of History and Archaeology of the Philosophical
School of the University of Ioannina. In April 2014, his application for
transfer to the same Department and School of the National and Kapodistrian
University of Athens was accepted. He graduated from that Department, choosing
the field of study of Archaeology, in May 2018, with a degree of 8,64/10. He
was also honored to be selected to pronounce the oath on behalf of his fellow
students, because of his high grading. From September 2018, he continued his
studies for his Master Diploma, at the Same Department of the National and
Kapodistrian University of Athens, by choosing to specialize in Prehistoric
Archaeology. He concluded his studies there, with a degree of 7,75/10, in
November 2022.
During his studies, he participated in the
archaeological excavation of his Department at Plasi, Marathon, from late May
to early June 2017.

Starting on 24 November 2019, he also published via
Blogger, a collection of 40 crosswords and cryptext puzzles, related to the
lesson of Byzantine History in the second year of Gymnasium (the Greek
equivalent to Middle School). The majority of these puzzles are related to
specific chapters of the student’s book and are focused on key-words that the
student has to learn, in order to comprehend his study and some other of these
puzzles are more general in character. That corpus has been released on the
Internet, so that anyone can access it for free, from anywhere in the world.
The corpus itself, as well as the blog, are dedicated to the memory of his late
High School (Lyceum) teacher, Ada Tsaka. You can access that blog for free, by
